About Me...
I was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico and soon after moved to Fort Collins, Colorado; where I decided to pursue my interests in art. I have a long family history of artists and have always been surrounded and inspired by it. I had been interested in making art my career path for a while, but at the time was committed to college swimming. Changing my course in college was the best decision I ever made, and I began to focus on building an art portfolio for myself. My experience in digital art started in high school classes and moved to specifically animation/film classes at CU Boulder. When it comes to finding a meaning behind my art, I like to play around with movement. I envision faces, characters, colors, and then produce them. I find myself experimenting with all kinds of mediums and techniques. I love to use vibrant colors, that do not always follow a scheme, to bring my characters to life. If I were to describe my style in one word, it would be trippy. Growing up in Santa Fe definitely influenced my style and constantly being engulfed by certain colors comes into play in my works. Generally, my art speaks to strange looking facial composures and emphasizes odd features as beautiful. I find internal peace and confidence when making, and most of all watching others view, my works. One of my favorite pieces would have to be a mural I recently painted at a Fraternity. The way it lights up the room and accentuates their parties, creating a new meaning for a room, etc. As well as my films experimenting with rotoscoping. I want to work towards live production, and possibly producing visuals for concerts. My goal for growing my art profile is to learn how I can make a difference with my pieces and expand my scale.
